Terje has 30 years’ experience from the maritime industry, mainly from ship management of open hatch and bulk vessels. He has held key positions as Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager, Dry Docking- and Crane specialist as well as Principle Engineer. His education background includes Chief Engineer license and a BSc in Industrial Engineering.

He has experience with but not limited to:

• Responsible for technical management of assigned vessel portfolio.
• Ensure that the vessel performance was in accordance with defined KPIs.
• Responsible for preparing and following up on shipyards and budget. Including tendering, and contract negations.
• Plan, supervise and report drydocking of vessels.
• Contact person for vessels and superintendents.
• Preparing and overseeing external vetting.
• Project Manager for several optimization, efficiency, modification and environmental projects such as:
  • Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS).
  • Elongation of vessels.
  • Retrofit of tween deck.
  • Retrofit of bow thrusters.
  • Dual fuel tank system.
  • Upgrade of automation and alarm systems.
  • Boiler repairs.
